Reactions to Toxic Relationships

Dini wrote:

Speaking for myself, whenever I find myself falling into "toxic" relationships, co-dependent relations or any other unhealthy relationship there are two things I can do; get angry at and blame the other person (which to some extent I do) but more importantly, what is causing me to feel so unworthy, undeserving, etc. to have put up with that treatment? For me, it goes back to childhood stuff, "hard-wiring" put in place during childhood, the feeling that any "love" I receive is conditional on me DOING something, rather than simply being me.
