Question: What exactly are meditation techniques?

For those of us seeking effective ways to relax, meditation techniques are various activities which help create a calm state of mind.

Two Easy Mediation Techniques:

First Easy Meditation Practice:

  • Sit in a quiet place
  • Sit in a comfortable position
  • Focus your attention on breath
  • Or a mantra
  • Or an image

Using A Photo Practice:

  • Take a look at a photograph that you find beautiful
  • Focus your attention on the photo
  • When your attention strays, refocus it again.

Over time and with consideration, some things that seem unnecessarily worrisome in daily life can appear less urgent and compelling for seasoned mediators. However, if you practice one of these techniques you might find you are a person who responds well to meditation techniques and enjoy the benefits.
