Cristina Bortoni Versari, Ph.D., is the president of the San Diego University for Integrative Studies (SDUIS), a private university offering degrees in sport psychology, transpersonal psychology and expressive arts therapy in San Diego, California.
Dr. Versari's background is in sport psychology, crisis intervention and career development She specializes in performance enhancement, career and life planning, and team building.
Dr. Versari is also the Director of the Sport Psychology Program at SDUIS and a consultant and personal coach to athletes, parents, businessman, and other individuals who want to improve their effectiveness in different areas of their lives such as: personal relationships, work and career, wellness and lifestyle management. She conducts workshops and training programs on performance enhancement and team building nationwide and internationally.
Dr. Versari counseled professional athletes from 13 NBA teams in the areas of career and education and was the psychologist for the Brazilian Men's Basketball Team for the 1992 Olympics and 1994 World Championship of Basketball.
