MEDIA KIT

Why have so many people kept returning to our magazine for so many years?

Award Winning Quality & Trustworthiness

Initially developed in 1994, we are volunteer driven and operated. We pride ourselves on being a publication "by the people, for the people."

We offer free information to a largely consumer readership spanning the globe, and interacting with us regularly through a variety of services available thousands of pages. We are primarily a scientific research-based publication. Our mission is to deliver research-based information in easily-understood formats. We seek to collect and deliver research-based solutions to daily living problems. Our audience is the general public, but interestingly, over 1/3 of our readers identify themselves in our website questionnaire as psychotherapists who need hand-outs for their clients and patients.

Our topics are chosen according to traffic patterns in our website as we've tracked them since 1994. We do not offer psychotherapy but use the Ethical Principles for media psychology published by the American Psychological Association as our guiding principles.

Our pages are optimized to allow access by the visually impaired, people with low-end browsers, and slow modems. We attempt to give access to as many people as possible, whether they are trying to read our pages from downtown Tokyo or the Serengeti of Tanzania.

We have received a numerous well-respected awards recognizing the excellence of our site and its contribution to the World Wide Web.
